Templates and source notes

These downloads are the same illustrative examples used by PortPlan PoE Budget. They are not live prices, supplier inventory, manufacturer certifications, or customer records.

Start with a small example

• Download illustrative inputs JSON for the Import JSON button.
• Download Devices (CSV) CSV example. One row per device: name, PoE class (none, af, at, bt, or the documented numeric class 0 to 8), maximum per-port watts, quantity. A header row is optional.

Replace assumptions before using a result

Keep units and column order intact. Replace example values with dated measurements or source specifications. Save a separate private copy of your inputs, then use the tool to validate and recalculate them.
